The key message I want to send is that no one has the right to drink excessively and ruin the experience for other people. We will have more situations where we won't have alcohol at the games if people are unruly. It's not fair to the people who pay for tickets. It's not safe for people in the stadium.

I had them sold for $325 million, ... That was an initial offer, and could easily have gone higher if bidding took place. Today I'm not sure I could get $225 million for them.

Their home stadium is a New Jersey landmark, and it is an insult to us for them to remove the name of the state. We strongly object to this lack of respect for the state of New Jersey.

Nothing has been discussed that is remotely controversial about my past involvement with Devco. Even if I hadn't stepped down as chairman, Devco would not be a conflict of interest.

It sounds as if the governor is doing exactly what he should be doing and we'll try to give him all the information possible to help the treasurer and he reach a good decision for taxpayers. My position has always been clear and consistent.

It is very important for interests to be disclosed. I support the new policy and I think it is a very positive thing.

They met every obligation that they have indicated to us.

This is an indication to us that they want to be good partners. This always, obviously, goes a long way toward giving us some comfort that we're going to be able to continue moving this project forward. Obviously, we've had our ups and downs, but now we have all of our money up front.

Rushing into that deal with the Giants was a big mistake. We didn't know at that point if the Jets were going to be in play here. Frankly, we should have waited until we could have both teams at the table together. Now, I don't think it would be unreasonable to give the teams more time to work things out. We need to let them work out their issues and not take any one side.

Everyone wants a new stadium. We want to work toward that goal and we're 90 percent there and we ought to finish it. We're going to work hard to try to do that.
